All guest rooms have a half-bathroom equipped with toilet with bidet functions.

All guest rooms have a refrigerator. Although the refrigerator is empty, there are vending machines (non-alcoholic & alcoholic drinks) within the hotel facility.

Each guest room is equipped with a safety deposit box.

We accept various credit cards including VISA and JCB.

Unfortunately our facility is not pet friendly.

The entire hotel facility and guest rooms are a non-smoking environment except the smoking area located outside of the hotel entrance.

We have various designs for femaleYukatas (e.g. Yumeji Takehisa design).

We have child size Yukatas available.

We serve both dinner and breakfast at our dining halls. We offer a western table & chair dining style, and also a Zashiki (Japanese traditional tatami room) dining style.

Please choose 6:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. for dinner, and 8:00 a.m. or 8:30 a.m. for breakfast.

-For guests of elementary school age, we offer full meals without appetisers and aperitifs.

-For younger guests, we provide for example: Dinner: Chawan-mushi (Japanese savory pudding), Tempura, grilled fish, rice, miso soup, and dessert -Breakfast: Japanese fried eggs, salads, Natto (Japanese fermented soybeans), yogurt, grilled fish, rice, and miso soup

Since we are a small family owned hotel, we are unable to modify ingredients (e.g. freshwater fish) or offer allergen free dishes. Kitchen and cooking tools are shared for all dishes.

We offer the complementary WiFi service covering the guest rooms and the guest lounge. Please bring your own devices; we do not lend out those devices.

We have vending machines for both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Those machines do not sell tobacco (our hotel is a non-smoking facility).

The kiosk is open during 3:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., and 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

Please contact us before sending luggage. We keep the luggage until your check-in except valuables, food, or dangerous objects. Please make sure to write your name and staying date on the package and send to the address below:

We host Folktale night on first Saturday night, every month (complimentary service, Japanese only).

There are no staircases inside the facility; however, the outside entrance has stone staircases (approximately 16 stairs). We offer a wheelchair for indoor mobility purposes on necessity base (first come, first serve).

Unfortunately we do not offer either of these services.

We are not aware of any inconveniences reported by pregnant women.

All of the baths (incl. outdoor baths and private baths) are open from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 a.m. the next day.

We are afraid our private baths are not reservable. These baths are open for use whenever vacant/unlocked.

All guest rooms and public baths are equipped with hair dryers.

In order to keep the hot spring water temperature suitable for bathing, we add water and/or heat and filter the hot spring water when needed.

We offer a daily use plan which comes with guest room access and dinner (limited dates only).

The snowy season starts in mid December and lasts until mid March. Weather in the countryside changes rapidly, so please use snow tires or bring chains for tires. National Route 17 is well shoveled most of the time; therefore, 4WD is not usually required as long as the car is equipped with snow tires (or tires with chains).

We have enough complimentary parking spaces to accommodate all guests.

The nearest restaurant is the restaurant in Manten-boshi-no-yu (a daily-use bathing facility), a 10 min walk from our hotel. Please check Manten-boshi’s website for business hours. Details here(Japanese only)
